I’m really excited about it, although a bit nervous since I haven’t “ran” (the short gym warm-ups don’t count) since August. This is perfect because not only does it help me to begin to complete my resolutions, but makes me start to get a move on and jumpstart my fitness plans for the year. To make it better we are competing with a ton of friends so it should be a really awesome time. I foresee lots of running and playing on the monkey bars/playground once the weather warms up a bit. I’m doing this mostly for fun, but I’m not going to lie and say that I don’t want to totally kick butt doing so.
Has anyone ran this before or plan on doing so this year? How about any other off the wall races?
I've run the one in Windham, New York at Wyndam mountain. It was really fun but since it was up a mountain, not good for running. The way up was really hard and the way down you were trying not to run too fast so you didn't fall down! Every location is different though! ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your link! I can only imagine that it had to be tough running the first half uphill! Yuck! I'm in it to just have a really good time and hopes that'll I'll do well! If anything I'm just excited to be signed up for a race for the year!

ReplyDeleteFrom everyone that I have talked to, it is a great time! You should see if they have anything like it in your area...they have them all over the U.S.
That looks like such a fun race! Have you heart of the Dances with Dirt race in Hell, Michigan? My parents always used to do it and I'm determined to do it some day!
